DeleteYup! I agree with Cheryl.
DeleteHuh? Does that bmeans my answer is wrong?
DeleteI got $2 for 1 tennis ball & $2.40 for 1 football.
Here's my working.
Working:
(FB=football/TB=tennis ball/l_l=1 unit)
Model:
$15.60
FBl_l_l
FBl_l_l

$15.60-$15.20=40cents(difference between TB & FB)
4x40cents=$1.60(total difference amount)
$15.60-$1.60=$14.00(7 units)
$14.00 divde by 7=$2(TB)
$2+40cents=$2.40(FB)
TB=$2
FB=$2.40

ReplyDeleteMay I know who this is?
DeleteWhich part do you not understand?
DeleteYou would have to draw a model. (for this question)
ReplyDelete156 = (4u + weight of the rice sold)
72 = (1u + weight of the rice sold)
156-72=84
84=3u
84/3=28(1u)
Shop A sold: 28x4=112 (4u)
156-112=44
44=amount of rice that Shop A sold
Shop A sold 44kg of rice.
Why 28x4?
