S6 Maths Supplement :) yummy!!

Maths supplement continues ...

S6:
A group of girls shared some sweets among themselves. They tried taking 11 sweets each, but found that the last girl had only 6 sweets. When each girl took 8 sweets, there were 25 sweets left over. 
How many sweets were there altogether?

    11-8=3
    30/3=10
    10x8+25=105

    Total no. of sweets if arrange in 11 = (11 x G) – 5
    Total no. of sweets if arrange in 9 = (8 x G) + 25
    11G – 5 = 8G + 25
    11G-8G = 25+5
    3G = 30
    G = 10 (No. of Girls)
    Total Sweets = (8x10) +25 = 105
