Tom counted a total of 192 legs.

May and Dawn each brought some sweets to the class.
Each of them took out the same number of sweets to distribute to their classmates.
If May took out 1/4 of her sweets and gave each of her classmates 6 sweets,
she would have 14 sweets left over.
If dawn took out 1/2 of her sweets and gave each of her classmates 8 sweets,
she would be short of 10 sweets.
How many sweets did each girl have at first?
